Concrete Placement for ‘delayed Coker Unit’ Completed on Epc1 of Duqm Refinery

This is the largest concrete placement on the Refinery project.

Duqm: The concrete placement for the foundation of the planned ‘delayed coker unit’ (DCU) structure was laid down yesterday. The concrete volume was 2472cubic meters making this the largest concrete placement planned for the Duqm Refinery project.

The duration for the concrete placement was 15 hours, starting from 16:30 on 16 March ending on 07:30 on 18 March.

The Subcontractor performing the work was Douglas OHI and the EPC Contractor managing the work was Technicas Reunidas and Daewoo JV.
