Duqm Refinery Graduates Attend ‘outward Bound Oman’ Program in Bidiyah

Muscat: Graduates who recently joined Duqm Refinery were sent on a team building exercise with ‘Outward Bound Oman’. They took part in activities that pitched candidates into a number of challenging situations. The main objectives of the program was to not only increase awareness of employability skills needed to advance their career at Duqm Refinery but also to promote strong relationships and professionalism, give emphasis to work ethics and the benefits of having it in the work place through practice.

The three day program also aimed at igniting the spirit of teamwork, integrity, trust, respect and boost staff morale. Through carefully curated exercises graduates also got to experience the link between effort and result and actions and consequences.

All the activities highlighted Duqm Refinery’s vision and mission while simultaneously addressing its core values of teamwork, respect, integrity and professionalism.
