Duqm Refinery to Participate in the Oman Downstream Exhibition & Conference as a Co-host.

Muscat: Duqm Refinery has announced its participation as a ‘Co-Host’ in the Oman Downstream Exhibition & Conference being held at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre on 15 – 17 April, 2018.

This is the second year in a row that Duqm Refinery is participating as a Co-Host of the event. “The Oman Downstream event is a platform that we have great interest in developing further” said, Jasim Al Ajmi, Head of Corporate Sustainability at Duqm Refinery. He further added: “As such our participation showcases our unique partnership between Oman Oil Company (OOC) and Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI) who will not only be representing their groups within our Exhibition stand, but will also be featured as speakers and panelists at the accompanying conference.”

The Oman Downstream event is unique since its focused on Downstream activities. It serves as a wonderful opportunity for all the key players in the downstream industry to gather, network and explore business opportunities.

Duqm Refinery is also adding value to the conference and has prominent speaking slots. Dr. Salem Al Huthaili, CEO at Duqm Refinery, for example, will be addressing the audience on day 1 of the conference in the capacity of a Key Note speaker, whilst on day 2, Head of Project Engineering will be delivering a talk on digitization and its growing importance in Refinery operations. Furthermore, senior representatives from both KPI and OOC will be showcased in discussion panels on both days.
