Foundation Pour for Administration Building

2/3rd pour complete, only 1/3rd more to go

Duqm: On the 24 March 2019, the EPC2 joint venture contractors of Petrofac and Samsung with their Subcontractor Oman Shapoorji poured 2/3rd of the underground supporting raft foundation of the proposed Administration Building.

The concrete volume was 1700 cubic meters. Placement commenced at 07:50 AM, with a projected completion time at 7:00 PM.

Four concrete pumps engaged in the pour, each discharging around 40m3 p/hour with approximately 16 concrete mixers discharging per hour.
