Duqm Refinery Request for Expressions of Interest for EPC Tender Pre-qualification

Duqm Refinery has reached an important milestone by inviting reputed Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors to express interest to pre-qualify to participate in a competitive bidding process for the development of a 230,000 bpsd grass roots petrochemicals refinery in Duqm, this comes after hard work and effort put in by the organization and its shareholders to push for the project to be a national benchmark for success. . The contract comes as result of the implementation of strategic objectives aimed at achieving best practice; the refinery seeks to obtain domestic, regional and international contractor’s interest in the project as it is labeled one of the economically important projects in Oman to date. “The journey has just begun; the release of the EPC pre-qualification tender is a very significant step in the Duqm Refinery’s book of achievements. Aiming to achieve operational and organizational excellence the refinery seeks top qualified contractors who have been experienced in the field of refineries and petrochemical plant design and construction, the final tender is yet to be announced after the process of filtration and the final contractor(s) will be announced at a later stage.
